Vision

Play and Stay Pet Care Center provides your pet with a unique (dog) daycare and boarding experience. The facility is designed for the dogs, rather than for their owners.  In lieu of flat screen televisions, expensive artwork and custom furniture, the facility provides a comfortable, functional, and fun approach to dog daycare and kenneling.   We put the focus on your dog’s socialization, companionship and welfare.

 

The spacious four feet by five feet kennels reduce the dog’s stress using solid walls rather than chain link.  Dutch doors allow human viewing while the lower half is solid.

 

We not only encourage, but actively manage canine introductions to socialize with other dogs throughout the day rather than leaving them in kennel.  The 2,000 square foot indoor play yard is flexible, allowing the play yard to be completely open, or subdividing it into two, three or four smaller play yards, depending on how the dogs need to be separated.  There are four auto-watering stations in the play yard, ensuring that water is constantly available.

 

The outside daycare play area is likely the largest outside play area for a dog daycare in metro-Detroit.  The 2,000 square foot potty yard is located directly outside the rear door of the daycare facility.  A fence corridor separates the potty yard from the 12,000 square feet of natural grass play area.  The entire outside play yard is fenced, with colorful tarps to eliminate stress from neighboring facilities.

 

The educational facility is located at the rear of the property where dog training and other pet related education takes place.  The 2,800 square foot training floor handles puppy classes, obedience training, utility, agility, freestyle, and other training regimens.  The training floor, obedience and agility equipment are available for individual or group rental.
